Hi, I’m Amy.
My journey into photography has been shaped by a lifelong love of nature and a deep connection to the art of capturing moments. Growing up, I was always surrounded by my stepdad’s passion for photography. He had a special way of seeing the world, always ready to freeze time with a camera and share the beauty of everyday life. His love for the craft inspired me, and I found myself drawn to photography from a young age.
Nature has always been my happy place—there's something about the outdoors that calms my mind and sparks my creativity. Whether it was the quiet walks in the countryside or simply taking in the changing seasons, the natural world became a source of comfort and inspiration for me. Photography allowed me to express my emotions and experiences, capturing the world in a way that felt both personal and meaningful.
As I approach my 40s, I’ve made the decision to turn my passion for photography into a business. I’m a busy mum of four, living in Devon with my husband and our children. Alongside my family, I run an eco-conscious engineering consultancy with my husband and his business partner. Life is full, but photography has always been my escape—a way to connect with myself and the world around me.
It wasn’t until the lockdown that I truly rediscovered my love for photography. With everything slowing down and life taking on a new pace, I finally had the time to focus on my craft. I began capturing moments with a new sense of purpose, creating images that felt more than just a snapshot. I wanted to capture photos with soul—images that not only show the world but evoke feelings, tell stories, and connect with others on a deeper level.
Now, I’m excited to bring my photography into the world as a business. My goal is to create images that resonate, that feel alive and real, and that truly reflect the essence of the moment. Photography has become much more than a hobby for me—it’s a passion I’m eager to share with you. I look forward to capturing your special moments, telling your stories, and helping you see the world through the lens of a camera that’s full of heart and soul.
